One of the crazy parts of this Baylor recruiting class is that most prospects that Rhule went after and offered ended up committing, signing, or enrolling pretty early. There’s a good helping of wide receivers already locked up for 2018, but more could always help.

Four-star Texas native Tommy Bush is the type of receiver that could get a considerable amount of playing time with the Baylor offense as a freshman. He would also get to learn from a talented pass catcher like All-Big 12 receiver Denzel Mims.

The pieces are in place for Bush to make Baylor a likely potential destination for his college career. He’s got the size, at 6-foot-5, to become a primary possession receiver in the Big 12. The Big 12 is also the place where his stat line is likely to look the absolute best.

Even when Baylor is down, they can still produce 1,000 yard seasons for receivers. That’s just the type of pace the Big 12 plays at year-by-year now. Baylor has to overcome the Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels and Michigan State Spartans to land Bush, but they’re a great option.
