The challenge for Texas A&M football entering the NSD is to haul in a few more touted recruits in a shallow prospect pool after the Early Signing Period.

Texas A&M football has just four days left to make a real impact on their incoming freshmen class for the 2018 season. They have 14 commits in the 2018 class, good for the 35th best class in the nation and 10th best in the SEC. Considering the Aggies are used to finishing in the top six classes in their conference, something has to give soon.

The polarizing hire of head coach Jimbo Fisher is sure to attract some high profile prospects before it’s all said and done. Texas A&M has the investment in the program required to get some big time commits in years to come. Buying into what Fisher is doing right now is key to reeling in a few more commits before National Signing Day, on Feb. 7.

Hot on the trail of more than 10 prospects, Texas A&M is ready to make some noise at the beginning of the week of National Signing Day. The Aggies could really use some more depth in the receiving corps, secondary, and linebacking corps.

The SEC is a conference that tends to draw a ton of attention during National Signing Day. However, only three of the top 10 classes in the nation are SEC programs. With the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, and Auburn Tigers as the only premier recruiting classes in the SEC at this moment, the entire conference has a lot of work to do.

As a potential big mover within the next few days, the Aggies coaching staff are sure to be a busy bunch. Here are the five most important remaining targets for the Texas A&M Aggies before the 2018 edition of National Signing Day.
