If there’s one remaining offensive lineman on the market who everyone would love to land, it’s five-star Nicholas Petit-Frere. He has to be the most highly sought-after big man left on the board and there are about five schools hoping to land him and they’re all relatively on the same level.

The slight favorite right now might be Florida, but Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame are all still putting up a fight. If I were to eliminate a team, it’d be the Wolverines. Jim Harbaugh and the staff may have a quiet National Signing Day and Petit-Frere hasn’t given many hints about the Wolverines being his choice.

Ohio State has made a late push for the 6-foot-6, 272-pound Tampa-native, which has to make Notre Dame, Florida and Alabama nervous. Urban Meyer is a master recruiter and Petit-Frere took his last official visit to Columbus.

Petit-Frere is listed as the No. 9 overall recruit and top offensive tackle in the class and he could very well start right away no matter where he chooses to go. Unfortunately for the Irish, I think it’s between Ohio State and Florida.

Pick: Florida
