With 2018 National Signing Day approaching, who are the top five remaining recruiting targets for Oklahoma football and Lincoln Riley?
Lincoln Riley is gearing up for his first National Signing Day, excluding the early signing period, as the head coach of Oklahoma. A year ago, he was the top assistant to Bob Stoops who surprised everyone with his sudden retirement over the summer.
The Sooners didn’t skip a beat, though, and a big reason for their success and trip to the College Football Playoff was Heisman-winning quarterback Baker Mayfield. Are there any last-minute recruiting victories that could help carry the Sooners back to the playoff in 2018?

Although it’s a long-shot, Jeremiah Martin is still on Lincoln Riley’s radar. The four-star defensive end from San Bernardino, Calif., has a handful of potential suitors, and the Sooners are one of them.
Martin is currently considering USC, Oklahoma, Washington and Texas A&M with the latter leading by a decent margin. He last visited Texas A&M for his official on Oct. 6, but Jimbo Fisher has been touching base with him to make sure the Aggies remain his leaders.
Oklahoma, on the other hand, received a visit on Oct. 28 and the staff has stopped by a couple times over the past two weeks to check in with him and put its final pitch together.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound athletic specimen is ranked the No. 213 overall player and is the 14th-best weak-side defensive end in the class, according to 247Sports.
