National Signing Day is upon us! Here are the biggest stories heading into the big day as recruits make their final decisions about where to go to college.

The annual spectacle of National Signing Day has arrived. Every February, high school hopefuls make their final decisions. Given the volatile nature of the college game, recruiting is critical for maintaining powerhouse status.

While this year saw the addition of an early signing day to the college football calendar, there are still some major prospects looking for a place to spend the next few years. Colleges are getting set to pull out their fax machines. (Email is far more efficient these days, but they still dust them off every year for show. College football, after all, is long on tradition.)

Teams of all sizes hope that there is a diamond in the rough waiting on Wednesday to bolster the future chances of success at their school. We could see some last-minute switches, ensuring that the doldrums of the offseason are broken by some drama.
