Notre Dame has a few important targets on NSD to improve on the defensive side of the ball. One of those is four-star cornerback Noah Boykin, who would be Notre Dame’s second big time prospect at that position.

While Griffith is going to be the top ranked cornerback in Notre Dame’s class, whether Boykin takes his talents to South Bend or somewhere else, he could still bring something valuable to the table. The Gators are the likely chosen program for Boykin, but the Irish seem to be just behind the SEC East blue blood.

It would take something big for Boykin to change to go with Kelly and the Irish over first-year Florida head coach Dan Mullen in Gainesville. However, with the recruiting trail near wrapped up for 2018, it’s definitely worth the try for Notre Dame to nab a likely UF commit.
