A featured portion of the Texas A&M offense in 2018 should be the rushing attack. The loss of running back Keith Ford will hurt the ground game, but there’s still a lot of talent coming back. Rising junior Trayveon Williams will be the featured back again in 2018.

However, outside of Williams, the Aggies do have Kendall Bussey and Jacob Kibodi to rely on. If those backs do not work out, the Aggies brought in three rushers in this recruiting class. The best of those three is four-star all-purpose running back Jashaun Corbin.

Among all the targets that Fisher had on NSD, Corbin was one of the more significant commitments, due to his overall versatility. Three-star running backs Deneric Prince and Charles Strong could also make solid contributions to the offense in the next few years.

As the eighth best prospect in the nation at his particular position, Corbin is a valued rusher that can help out beyond just the ground game. He’s got the size to excel in pass blocking and he’s also got solid hands to be a threat in the passing game, as a receiver out of the backfield.
