Ohio State won’t have to travel far to recruit David Bell. Heck, the Buckeyes should be used to heading to Indianapolis, seeing s that’s where the annual Big Ten Championship Game is held.

Bell, a four-star receiver from Indiana, is an impressive athlete. He stands 6-foot-2, 185 pounds and has blazing speed with strong hands. The Buckeyes have always had speed at the receiver position under Urban Meyer and Bell would be the perfect addition to the 2019 class.

As a junior, he had 1,064 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns to go along with two punt returns and three interceptions on defense. He’s not likely to switch over to the defensive side of the ball at the next level, but it’s good to know he can.

Ranked the No. 59 recruit, ninth-best receiver and the top prospect from Indiana, Bell has just about every top school from the Midwest looking at him. Ohio State is the early leader, but don’t sleep on rival Michigan nor Iowa. He also holds offers from Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Notre Dame.
