Going to Oklahoma to try an swipe a top recruit from the Sooners or Cowboys isn’t an easy task, but Urban Meyer is ready to put in the work for Daxton Hill.

The five-star safety from Tulsa stands 6-foot-1 and weighs in at about 190 pounds and brings excellent ball skills to the secondary. He always seems to be at the right place at the right time, and that’s not exactly a mistake. He can read an opposing quarterback’s eyes and make a break on the ball before the receiver even knows what hit him.

Hill holds 20 offers and is close with both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, but Ohio State is putting the full-court press on the five-star. He’s ranked the No. 24 prospect and the nation’s second-best safety as well as top recruit from Oklahoma.

If he just takes a look at the number of defensive backs Ohio State has put in the NFL over the past few years, he would have no choice but to pick the Buckeyes as his next home.
