Yes, another offensive tackle has made his way onto Ohio State’s list of priority targets in the 2019 class. It was hard to narrow it down to just one target at the position for the Buckeyes, so I picked three, but Darnell Wright may just be the best of the bunch.

One thing is for sure: he’s the highest-rated tackle the Buckeyes lead for. They are also in on five-star Devontae Dobbs from Belleville, Mich., but he’s currently a Michigan State-lean.

Wright is listed as the No. 9 overall recruit and the nation’s top tackle. He’s also the top prospect from the state of West Virginia and the Buckeyes could land a number of state’s top recruits in 2019, which wouldn’t be out of the norm.

The five-star tackle from Huntington, W.V., is a physically-imposing 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds. He is a brick wall of a lineman and trying to make a move past him is not easy — not is it likely. He’s one of the most solid all-around offensive linemen in the class and potentially in the past few classes.

Ohio State is the favorite to land him, but Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia Tech are drawing interest from Wright as well.
