Stanford’s receiving corps is one of those areas on the depth chart that has a lot of experience coming back this year. Rising senior J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Trent Irwin and rising sophomore Connor Wedington highlight a stacked group of wide receivers for the Cardinal.

However, with Arcega-Whiteside being the only Stanford receiver getting consistent targets in 2017, there’s still some opportunity for incoming freshmen to gain some of the spotlight. Four-star wide receiver Michael Wilson fits that mold that could land him on the field in 2018.

This talented West Hills, CA, native is the only wide receiver in the incoming Stanford freshmen class. Three-star tight end Tae Le is the only prospect left in the recruiting class that is still listed as a hard commit for the Cardinal, after decommitting from the Harvard Crimson back in December 2017.

Le is the only other pass catcher in the recruiting class for the Cardinal. Getting a few starts in his first year with the Stanford offense might be shooting a little high for Wilson. But, he figures to be an integral part of the receiving corps for years to come.
