5. Tee Higgins – Wide Receiver

A wide receiver right out of Tennessee, Tee Higgins is becoming the answer for the Clemson Tigers. Fans didn’t get see Higgins’ talent until later in the season, but he showed a lot of potential.

Against the Citadel, a 61-3 blowout in favor of the Tigers, Higgins led the team with 178 receiving yards. Against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Higgins led the Tigers with 84 receiving yards. Once he gets started, it’s hard to get a stop on Higgins. For the Clemson Tigers in 2018, Higgins will be an aggressive playmaker during the season.

Higgins’ confidence when he’s on the field, turns heads. He has grabbed the attention of Coach Swinney, but for Higgins, this is still an important time for him to adjust to Clemson’s way of playing and become familiar to the college level game.

Ending the 2017 season, Higgins finished sixth on the team in receptions. He has strong hands, that have no problem catching the ball. Higgins is the full package. He has the speed to leave his defenders far behind, he’s 6-foot-4.

Fans and Clemson football have a good feeling about Higgins after offseason and spring practices.
