3. Strongest arm of the bunch

Watching Phil Jurkovec’s film, it’s quite obvious he’s the real deal. Although he has a tendency of staring down one receiver, likely a hot route, he still has the ability to look off and drop dimes 30-40 yards down the field.

Not only does he have the type of arm that could put him on track to compete with the big boys in college football from day one, it’s incredible accurate. Sure, his Hudl highlights only show the good, but he can’t stray much from that throughout each game.

Jurkovec is calm in the pocket, can scramble away from pressure and, as mentioned before, can throw accurately on the run. That’s a trait that Brandon Wimbush doesn’t quite have and Ian Book is working on.

The incoming freshman may have the strongest arm of the bunch and his accuracy down the field could set him apart. If Brian Kelly is looking for a good decision maker who can complete 60-65 percent of his passes for the season with plus deep-ball accuracy, Jurkovec is the way to go.
