If I had to circle one player for the Razorbacks that was most important for the coming season, it would be linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Some thought Greenlaw would leave early for the draft, but he made the decision to stick around for one more season. At just 6-foot-0 and 230 pounds, he is undersized and that will likely be held against him when he does enter the NFL. However, a big season in 2018 could override any of those kind of concerns.

The linebacker has tallied just under 250 tackles in his career as an Arkansas Razorback. He also has three forced fumbles, two recovered and an interceptions. One of his near interceptions is shown above against Texas A&M last September.

The Razorbacks have yet to figure the Aggies out in SEC play, however they have taken the Aggies former defensive coordinator John Chavis. Does that mean much? Who knows. He has shown himself to be a strong recruiter and coach during his time at both Texas A&M and LSU.

Look for Greenlaw to be a top linebacker in the SEC for the 2018 season. He had a few injury issues leading to the 2017 season that may have brought down the productivity of his season. However, 2018 brings a new coach and a new chance to rise to the top.
