Arkansas Football 2018 Mock Draft: How many Razorbacks are chosen?
Henre’ Toliver has a tale of two disparate tapes. There’s film of him shutting down Julio Jones as a true freshman in 2014, but there’s also plenty of tape of him failing to attack in the open field and getting burned on long passing plays. Toliver’s high-end of ability could make him an early Day 3 selection, but his lack of consistency will scare teams away from spending too high of a pick on him.
That talent got him on the field for four seasons at Arkansas. He ends his collegiate career with seven interceptions, 21 passes defended and two touchdowns – one by way of an interception and the other a fumble return in his senior season.
The back end of the seventh round is reserved for fliers – guys like Toliver that have shown flashes of ability that needs to be harnessed. The Seattle Seahawks value guys with big-play ability and need to start addressing an aging secondary. Toliver won’t be taking over for Richard Sherman any time soon, but he could develop into a respectable role player given enough time.
Toliver has NFL size, checking in at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds. An NFL body with enough flashes of upside could prove to be just enough to earn him a late round selection.
