Former Michigan football player Jourdan Lewis trolled his former program after the basketball team was able to win the Big Ten Tournament.
Winning isn’t easy, just ask Jourdan Lewis. The former Michigan football player and current Dallas Cowboy was a two-time All-American and first-team All-Big Ten selection as well as the 2016 Defensive Back of the Year. However, as unselfish as he is, he doesn’t care about personal accolades.
In fact, Lewis would much rather experience success as a team. Unfortunately, his Wolverines were never able to win the Big Ten title and the most games he ever won in a single season was 10 games, which happened twice in Jim Harbaugh’s first two years. He also only ever won a single bowl game.
So you can imagine just how tough it was for Lewis to watch Michigan basketball experience so much success in recent years. Michigan is supposed to be a ‘football school’ but that hasn’t been the case since John Beilein took over the basketball program.
On Sunday, Lewis chimed in after the Wolverines were able to win their second straight Big Ten Tournament title.
Damn, that gotta be hype winning something in college.

Shots fired? Probably not, but rather just a player who gave it his all for a school only to finish his career no higher than third place in the division. That’s frustrating, especially with the amount of talent the football program brings in each season.

Could 2018 be the year the football program finally breaks through to contend for the Big Ten title? Even if it is, Lewis won’t get to benefit from it.
