One of the most talented all-around athletes in Ole Miss’ 2018 class has to be three-star outside linebacker Kevontae’ Ruggs. Although he’s listed as a linebacker, he showed his versatility at the prep level by being one heck of a receiver. Don’t believe me? Just watch his highlight film.

Not only does he have impressive speed to run routes and blow by defenders, but he has solid hands and decent moves in the open field.

On the defensive side of the ball, Ruggs has strong closing speed and his pursuit is second to none in the class. The Montgomery, Ala., native is the highest-rated outside linebacker in the Rebels’ class and he looks the part on film.

Ruggs is ranked the No. 438 overall prospect in the class and the 30th-best outside linebacker, per 247Sports. He could exceed those rankings in year one as a potential starter.
