1. Quarterback battle

Everyone loves a good quarterback battle, and that’s exactly what Ohio State fans are going to get this spring and likely extending into the summer months.

Sophomore Dwayne Haskins is the clear favorite after attempting 57 passes and completing 70 percent of them in 2017 for 565 yards, four touchdowns and an interception as JT Barrett’s backup. Joe Burrow, a junior, attempted just 11 passes in 2017.

Redshirt freshman Tate Martell is also in the running and that doesn’t come as much of a surprise given that he was an elite recruit out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas in the 2017 class.

Expect Haskins to be the starter to begin the 2018 season, but Urban Meyer isn’t showing his hand just yet as he’s dubbing the battle “neck-and-neck”.

It seems like a decade since the Buckeyes were last looking for a starting quarterback. Barrett will be missed by the Buckeyes.
