The 2018 NFL Combine opened eyes of the NFL franchise front offices, pundits and fans alike as it usually does. The week-long event that takes place in Indianapolis, IN is always filled with the big names in the business from coaches and GM’s, to scouts and the top agents. The 2018 edition got to see Saquon Barkley dominate the field drills and measurements proving to be the elite athlete he showed on film.

The Cleveland Browns are the on the clock first, again, and will have their choice of high level prospects as this is one of the most top-heavy and deepest drafts in quite a long time. The talent level in 2018 can completely rebuild an ailing franchise like Cleveland once the players have the time to develop.

However, Cleveland isn’t the only franchise needing to hit big on their first round picks. The New York Giants and Indianapolis Colts have new regimes in place and need to rebuild quickly to keep their fanbases happy. The need for high level quarterback plays has never been more evident than in recent seasons and nearly ten teams could need a quarterback in 2018, with six high-profile candidates on the draft boards and a few lesser-known prospects fitting into the first two days as well.

The Cleveland Browns are on the clock.
