Barrett’s career in the Scarlet and Gray is one of the most prolific in not only Buckeye history, but college football history. As a four-year starter, Barrett compiled a record of 38-6, including a national championship in 2014.

Barrett’s college statistics were just as mind-boggling, In his career he amassed 12,697 yards of total offense, the most in Big Ten history as he passed former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees by a mere four yards. He also holds the conference record for most career touchdowns (147) and most career passing touchdowns (104).
Barrett came on to the national scene as a freshman, leading the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record before getting hurt in the Michigan game. His backup, Cardale Jones, led the Buckeyes onto the 2014 CFP National Championship. Barrett returned as starter for his final three years, leading the Buckeyes to a Big Ten championship his senior year and three bowl wins in his career.
