The 2018 NCAA Tournament is down to its final Sweet 16 teams. How would these matchups translate to the college football field?
March Madness is in full swing as the 2018 college basketball NCAA Tournament has provided fans with numerous upsets and historical moments. In just one year, the college basketball world has witnessed the first ever No. 16 seed winning over a No. 1, as well as the first time in history that a region in the tournament will not send either a 1-seed, 2 seed, 3-seed or 4-seed to the Sweet 16.
The matchups are set and ready to begin as 16 teams are now ready to end the weekend with a trip to the Final Four and a legitimate chance to win the national title. As these games are ready to get underway, it is hard to ignore the uniqueness of matchups presented- thanks in large part to the upsets taking place in all four regions.
While the remaining 16 teams are filled with blue-bloods of the college basketball world, such as Duke, Kansas, and Villanova- the field is also filled with Cinderellas and mid-majors.

Some of these matchups are all college basketball fans can ask for, but what if these games were brought to the college football gridiron? How would these games play out? Could an FCS opponent knock out an FBS school?
Letâs take a look.
