4. Who steps up as No. 1 receiver?

Equanimeous St. Brown didn’t quite have the junior season he was expecting in 2017, although his team found a way to turn things around from 4-8 in 2016 to 10-3. That was probably the highlight of his season as his personal production wasn’t where he would have liked it.

Despite reeling in just 33 catches for 515 yards and three touchdowns, he decided to forgo his senior season with the Irish and declare for the NFL draft.

That leaves a major vacancy at receiver, begging the question, who is the No. 1 guy heading into spring ball? The answer seemed quite obvious to Brian Kelly, according to the IndyStar. When asked which received exudes the most confidence, he didn’t hesitate when naming Miles Boykin.

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound senior receiver looks to be the next man up as the No. 1 target in the offense and he’s coming off a season in which he had just 12 catches for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

Who could battle it out with Boykin? It looks like Chase Claypool (if healthy), Chris Finke, Michael Young Jr. and C.J. Sanders are the most viable options.
