1. Are the Badgers a championship-level team?

The last two seasons for Wisconsin have ended in heartbreak, thanks in large part to their close losses in the Big Ten Championship to Penn State and Ohio State. The team has shown that they are close to grabbing that CFP berth and competing for a national title, but just have not seemed to get over the hump.

In 2017, many people did not believe the Badgers were as good as their record indicated, but a one-possession loss to Ohio State and a double digit win over Miami changed that way of thinking heading into to 2018.

A tough schedule awaits and the Badgers will have to earn their way to the top of the rankings, but with great challenges comes great opportunities and if the team puts together a season like they did last year, there will be no dispute as to whether or not they are deserving.

Wisconsin will need to get over their Big Ten Championship game curse and prove it is a contender, even with competing in the weaker division. The West will be tougher than previous years, but as of now, it’s still the Badgers’ division to lose.
