2018 NFL Mock Draft: Complete first round through Pro Days
The attention on the quarterback situation for the Buffalo Bills took to the forefront during the early portion of the NFL off-season. Trading Tyrod Taylor to the Browns surprised a ton of people, but the Bills had expressed some disinterest in moving forward with him in 2017.
Let’s take a step back before diving any deeper into the Bills’ situation by saying that they do not officially own this pick yet. It makes a ton of sense for the Bills to move up and take a quarterback here, in place of who currently holds the pick in the New York Giants.
While the Giants could definitely also use Rosen, there’s a whole long list of other needs for them to address by trading down and nabbing more picks altogether. There’s no guarantee that Rosen would replace veteran Eli Manning with any degree of effectiveness given the turmoil surrounding the Giants’ offensive situation at this moment.
Each of the three teams drafting in the first group of picks here can grab a solid quarterback. The top three quarterbacks each offer their own value, with Rosen appearing to be the most NFL-ready. The Bills could also put together a more complete roster around him right now.
