1. Who wins the quarterback battle?

This is the biggest question that needs to be answered this spring and if it’s not answered, that means the Horned Frogs’ offense will be in limbo until fall ball.

The quarterback battle right now seems to be sophomore Shawn Robinson versus incoming freshman Justin Rogers. While Robinson already has a year of experience under his belt, he did only complete 48 percent of his 27 pass attempts for 184 yards and three touchdowns. He didn’t get much of an opportunity to play while backing up Kenny Hill, but he has experience.

Rogers, on the other hand, might have the hype surrounding him as the replacement for Hill. He’s an incoming four-star freshman and a top-50 recruit. In fact, he’s ranked the No. 43 prospect in the nation and No. 3 dual-threat by 247Sports. He will push Robinson this spring as an early enrollee.
