The 2018 NFL Combine must have been quite eye opening for NFL franchises such as the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets  who have made a scramble to move up into the top five picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. The subsequent “pro days” that have followed the combine have filled in the missing pieces of the puzzle for this year’s draft class. With that, the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills are rumored to be working on a draft day trade.

Saquon Barkley was the most dominant performer at the Combine, and his measurables have him as the top player regardless of position, however, the value on running back might not ensure him the number one overall selection. The same goes for guard Quentin Nelson out of Notre Dame. Instead, the premium is on quarterback as the NFL becomes an increasingly pass-happy league and the pool of talented quarterbacks seems to have run dry in professional football.

The Cleveland Browns are still the first team on the clock and have the ability to completely change the course of their struggling franchise by owning the first and fourth overall picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Browns are in need of a franchise quarterback, but also the star power that jersey and ticket sales can boom from.
