1. Is Jawon Pass ready to fill Lamar Jackson’s shoes?

Replacing Lamar Jackson has to be one of the most daunting tasks in all of college football. The junior quarterback, and former Heisman winner, decided to forgo his senior season in order to chase his NFL dreams.

That leaves Louisville in an interesting predicament.

The Cardinals may be down a former Heisman winner and incredible leader, but return junior Jawon Pass who sat behind Jackson, patiently awaiting his turn and learning. Pass likely picked up on some of Jackson’s tendencies, which would be good news for Louisville coaches.

Pass didn’t get many opportunities to prove himself as the future in 2017, completing 70 percent of his 33 attempts for 238 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 62 yards and another score.
