Bowden missed out on national titles because of a field goal on a number of occasions and he won 304 games as the head football coach of the Seminoles. His programs were led by Mickey Andrews’ defense and strong quarterback play over his career that spanned thirty-three years in garnet and gold.
The Jimbo Fisher era saw his program win 83 games including the final BCS National Championship in 2013, and the ‘Noles make the College Football Playoff in 2014.
