NFL Draft 2018: Top 5 late-round quarterback sleepers
By Dana Becker
Marshall has been home to several standout quarterbacks of the years including Byron Leftwich and Chad Pennington. Chase Litton could be the next in that line, as the 6-6, 232-pounder has the size and skills to develop in the NFL.
Litton was a three-year starter for the Thundering Herd, throwing for 8,335 yards with 72 touchdowns and 31 interceptions. He had at least 23 passing scores each year, throwing for a career-high 3,115 yards this past season.
His completion percentage dropped from 62 to 60 between his sophomore and junior seasons, but that is still a very strong number.
Litton isn’t very mobile, but he can avoid would-be tacklers and has the height to look down the field.
Projection: Fourth round
