32. . Defensive Tackle. Round 7, No. 254 overall. Zaycoven Henderson. 3. player

Zaycoven Henderson had a run in with the law in December of 2017 that prevented him from playing in the Aggies bowl game against Wake Forest and prematurely ended his senior season. The match up against the offensive heavy Demon Deacons could have turned out differently with Henderson’s assistance, but that is neither here nor there.

He also missed out on Pro Day as a result of this run in with the law, but was invited to the Combine and as a result did get to show out for NFL scouts. Now, he will just have to wait and see if that ends up being enough for him to hear his name called over the draft weekend.

Watching his highlights, shown below, without such a sour end to his Texas A&M career he could be feeling a bit more confident in his draft prospects. However, he will definitely be in training camp this summer and I also see him sneaking into the seventh round just before the draft closes out.

The Cardinals could take a chance on Henderson, though I am not fully convinced his character will be enough to push them to do so. He showed his ability to be an effective pass rusher at Texas A&M, but the NFL is a completely different monster.
