Stanford Football 2018 Mock Draft: Which Cardinal will be drafted?
Stanford has made defense and power running their bread and butter under head coach David Shaw. It comes as no surprise then that the first former Cardinal off the board is standout safety Justin Reid.
During his three years at Stanford Reid registered six interceptions and 14 passes defensed. The bulk of those big plays came during his junior season, his final at the Farm. His five interceptions in 2017 were the most by any Pac-12 player
One league source said that Justin’s coverage skills were better than his brother, Pro Bowl safety Eric Reid of the San Francisco 49ers. That’s high praise for Justin, who is one of the more versatile defensive backs in the 2018 class. Comfortable in the box and deep in coverage, he’ll find a home with the Bills who can put him on the field in a variety of different ways.
