Last year’s Clemson team might not have been the title-winning squad it was in 2016, but that doesn’t mean that the team lacked talent. Let’s take a look where some of the Clemson players might end up in the draft.

The draft always ends up with some great picks and some completely unexpected ones. Nobody ever gets their predictions exactly right, because some team always takes a left turn at the last minute and picks someone that stupefies the analysts.

Clemson doesn’t have any projected first-round draft picks this season, which is kind of surprising given how well the team has done the last few years. The players they are sending should prove to have some longevity in their careers.

Clemson has seven players who could be chosen in this year’s draft. Wide receiver Deon Cain is on several teams most-wanted list, but he will probably be a second or third-round pick given the talent above him — SMU’s Courtland Sutton, Alabama’s Calvin Ridley and Memphis’ racehorse Anthony Miller will all get snapped up before Cain does.

Analysts predict that fellow receiver Ray-Ray McCloud may not get drafted at all. Clemson has had a first-round pick every year for the past five years, but it looks like that hot streak may come to an end in 2018. Despite this, expect to see at least four Clemson players get picked this season. Here’s where they could land.
