The first round of the 2018 NFL Draft was unpredictable and exciting and things didn’t slow down. Here are the biggest storylines from Day 2, Rounds 2 and 3.

More: Grades and reactions for every top pick in the 2018 NFL Draft

There were some notable players that fell out of the first round, making for a few great selections in Round 2. The biggest storylines of Day 2, however, were much biggest than first rounders who fell. Here are three pieces of news that stood out the most on Day 2.

1. What are the Oakland Raiders doing?

The Jon Gruden era is off to a rocky start. The selection of Kolton Miller in Round 1, especially after trading out of a top 10 pick, was questionable. Then the Raiders followed that up with some other puzzling selections

Oakland picked SHSU nose tackle P.J. Hall (Round 2, Pick 25) and North Carolina A&T offensive tackle Brandon Parker (Round 3, Pick 1). There were several notable mock drafts that didn’t have either of those players coming off the board in Day 2, let alone in the first four or five rounds.

Then came their final pick of Day 2, Arden Key. He’s clearly their most talented selection of the day, but his off field issues dropped him out of the first round and were concerning enough to push him to the back end of Round 3 (No. 87 overall). If everything doesn’t go right for the Raiders, they could be looking at three unproductive players taken in the top 100 picks. Not a good start for Jon Gruden.
