1. Buckeyes are Big Ten favorites

Although the spring game was played in terrible weather and we didn’t see a full-contact scrimmage, per Urban Meyer’s request, it was clear that the Buckeyes have what it takes to stand out as Big Ten favorites and repeat what they did in 2017.

Ohio State is strong in just about every facet of the game from the trenches to receivers to quarterbacks and defensive backs. There is no real weakness for the Buckeyes heading into the 2018 season.

First, the Buckeyes have three quarterbacks who could start on most teams in the conference. Second, the running backs are the best in the conference. Third, the receiving corps are deep. The offensive line is getting better. The defensive line is scary. The defensive backfield is reloading and the linebackers are solid once again. This team is as complete as any Meyer-coached squad yet.

While I think the Buckeyes stood out as clear Big Ten favorites, they may have also proven themselves contenders for the national title.
