College football is littered with interesting people that could be pro wrestlers. Here are six personalities from our game that could be in WWE.

As both a lifelong WWE fan and college football fan the parallels to the two entertainment industries is easy to see. College football (and even the NFL) has produced some of wresting’s biggest stars over the decades from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to Ron “Faarooq” Simmons, and even “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan.

Wrestling and football have always had crossover appeal with one of the biggest moments being the main event of WrestleMania XI between Bam Bam Bigelow and Lawrence Taylor.

The WWE is more than just the wrestlers, although they’re important too. It’s also the announcers, and managers that create a unique world much the same as College GameDay and the eccentric college football coaches create a world that we love and obsess over. I’ve covered this topic before but this rendition digs deeper into 2018.

Modern college football is filled with personalities both on and off the field that can establish their brand via social media and documentaries like “A Season With” and “All or Nothing.”

The documentaries and the social media accessibility created this alternative world for the young adults of college football. Think of the sideline behavior of former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield, or even some of the pre-game antics of former Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Braxton Berrios.
