3. Tobias Little could be just what the run game needs

From a concern over the run game to Tobias Little breaking out in the spring game, the Cardinals are all over the board in the backfield.

Dae Williams could surely be the answer to the run game issues, but Bobby Petrino is just hoping his sophomore running back can be fully healthy for the start of the 2018 campaign. He has a backfield mate in Little who could pave the way for a strong run game and he can also take some pressure off Williams.

At a bruising 6-8, 248 pounds, Little could be a valuable member of the backfield who’s not just there for blocking purposes, but the coaching staff isn’t afraid to feed him the ball.

If the spring game is any indication, and the rising profile of Little over the course of the past month, or so, we could see the redshirt sophomore become one of the surprise stars on the team heading into the 2018 campaign.

Louisville may have a depth issue in the backfield, but Little could be just what the run game needs.
