Immediately following the 2018 NFL Draft, West Virginia football has some guys that look to go in the first round of the next draft upcoming.

West Virginia football has one of the best offenses returning in the nation in 2018, and some experience coming back on defense too. Namely, the West Virginia quarterback and wide receivers look to help their squad compete for a Big 12 Championship for the first time since the program joined the conference back in 2012.

Then, after what promises to be a solid 2018 campaign for the Mountaineers, the standouts on the roster can take their talents to the next level starting with the 2019 NFL Draft. Most of that attention will fall on rising senior quarterback Will Grier and reigning All-American wide receiver David Sills V. Really the only departure that the Mountaineers had in the receiving corps was Ka’Raun White.

Every key piece from the skill positions returns in 2018 outside of White and running back Justin Crawford. Yet, even Crawford didn’t play a huge role down the stretch, with sophomore Kennedy McKoy taking the reigns near the end of the season, and into the Heart of Dallas Bowl loss to the Utah Utes.

This might be the best class that West Virginia head football coach sends to an NFL Draft since taking over in Morgantown. The 2019 NFL Draft will be laden with talent out of West Virginia on the offensive side of the ball.

If a few players can step up on defense too, this is going to be a really good West Virginia squad in 2018. Most of the NFL prospects do fall on offense, though. Here’s the three West Virginia Mountaineers who could be picked in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
