West Virginia wants to be known as one of the best teams in the Big 12 for 2018, but Anthony DelPercio is stealing some offseason headlines with his mug.

Have you ever taken an embarrassing yearbook photo and to this day, you look back and say “yikes”?

Sometimes it’s a terrible haircut, other times it’s a questionable outfit or maybe you thought you’d look cool by not smiling or flashing a weird smirk. Most of the time, it’s the hair.

If you’re West Virginia freshman wide receiver Anthony DelPercio, you have to be gleaming with confidence to rock the type of hairdo he did in his first headshot with the Mountaineers.

You can’t even say it’s an awful picture because, actually, it’s somewhat impressive.

The freshman wide out clearly bought into the ‘business on top, party in the back’ look with the full, scruffy beard, too. He looks like a majestic pony with the mane extended presumably down his back.

From the ears up, DelPercio looks like a normal dude, but scanning down, you can see he’s just crazy enough to play college football.

The Middletown, Del., native may not see the field right away as he walked on to the football team and the Mountaineers are loaded at receiver. There have been plenty of walk-on success stories in college football, but you can count on seeing DelPercio’s locks flapping in the wind on the sidelines this fall.

There’s no doubt about it, DelPercio belongs on the all-headshot team in college football. He’s an all-mug All-American.
