1. Matt Rhule has plenty of confidence in his team

When the rumors were swirling about Matt Rhule leaving for the NFL, Baylor fans had to be thinking that the head coach had no faith in the future of the program.

After just one season, albeit a 1-11 one, Rhule wanted to leave Waco and start over in the NFL? That just didn’t seem right.

Those rumors were just that: rumors.

The quote above from his ESPN interview shows that he has complete confidence in this team and program moving forward. Stating he had no intention of going anywhere and won’t leave until ‘we get it right’ is a strong statement the coach is making.

Not many coaches would stick around after going 1-11 and garnering NFL interest, but it’s clear that Rhule feels good about the direction of the program.

Rest easy, Baylor fans, Rhule believes in this team and that much has been proven this spring.
