Florida State Football: 5 breakout freshmen to watch in 2018
The Noles are a little bit thin in the receiving corps, so it’s a good thing they inked several freshmen who are talented enough to see the field right away. Young is one of those freshmen. He’s a high three-star recruit who was previously committed to Tennessee before making it official with FSU late in the recruiting process.
There aren’t too many better offenses than Willie Taggart’s for speedy wide receivers who excel in space.
That’s very good news for Young, who was a state hurdles champion in Georgia and possesses game-breaking speed and athleticism. He has a real chance to work himself into the rotation once fall camp rolls around, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him getting first-stringer-type snaps by the end of the season.
In fact, his big-play ability might only be topped by the next player on this list. The Noles have quite a bit of speed incoming.
