1. Wimbush vows to make his senior year his best

The one glaring concern for Wimbush seems to be his completion percentage, which at times, could be erratic. Last season, he completed 49.5 percent of his passes. At the same time, his dynamic nature gives him an edge and increases the likelihood of him seeing the field.

Frank Vitovich of uhnd.com reported that Wimbush has recognized some of his inconsistencies and is dedicated to working them out. Vitovich’s report stated:

"In order to prepare, Wimbush reportedly spent time working with quarterback guru Madei Williams to recapture the form that made him a highly sought after recruit four years ago."

In the above video, Wimbush shares some other steps he took in the offseason to improve his game. One such thing was having his sights set on leading the Fighting Irish to a 14-0 season. But in terms of what he’s done to prepare for the season, he has “debriefed” back home in New Jersey, met with “some people” and even used “3D quarterback technology.”

Wimbush will likely have to reassert his starting role this summer after he was benched in the Citrus Bowl allowing backup Ian Book to register 164 yards and two touchdowns on 14 completions.

Nonetheless, Wimbush had a positive spring. In the annual Notre Dame Blue-Gold game, Wimbush dazzled, throwing for 328 yards and a 65-yard touchdown strike to Boykin. With these adjustments and the drive he has, Wimbush could make a viable candidate to make a Heisman run in 2018.
