4. Strong connection to high school football in Texas

From 1994-2009 Chad Morris was a high school football coach in the heavily-recruited state of Texas. His overall record in that time frame was 169-38. Capping this record off with not one, but two state championships for Lake Travis High School after having undefeated 16-0 seasons — back-to-back.

This speaks volumes about his prowess coaching wise. He is well known the Texas High School coaching world, which has already meant a lot when it comes to recruiting players from Texas. In Bret Bielema’s tenure there had only been two players recruited from Texas. Morris seems to be a household name in the Lone Star State, which can only improve things for the Razorbacks and their future prospects.

Morris is very open to all the high school coaches in the state of Arkansas. The role that those coaches play is something that Morris feels is vital for a program to survive. He has held open practices and extended the invitation for all them to attend and be apart making the Razorbacks great. They all play a role in this recalibration of Razorback football.
