Purple and yellow are a strange combination for a team’s primary colors, but the LSU Tigers pull it off in style. Very fittingly, the Tigers’ color scheme resembles colors associated with Mardi Gras, a holiday famously celebrated in the team’s home state of Louisiana.

Unlike their division foe Alabama, LSU has tinkered with their classic design without going too overboard, but its traditional white jerseys provide the Tigers with a recognizable look.

The two-color, three-stripe design on the shoulders of the jerseys provides enough flare to offset not having the team’s name across the chest. A nice visual appeal is the matching stripe pattern on the helmet and the pants in addition to having the corresponding yellow primary color.

The great part about these jerseys is that they can easily be worn at home or on the road.

Nothing screams LSU football with the purple and gold and a traditionally southern team such as the Tigers will always have a classy look when they rock their white uniforms onto the field.
