The Penn State uniforms offer another uber-simplistic design that provides a really traditional football feel that dates back decades, but the Nittany Lions still have a nice look.

One aspect that the Penn State football uniforms center around is the all-white helmet with a single navy blue stripe. This has been its helmet design seemingly forever, and it is something that may never lose its class.

The Nittany Lions uniform scheme is fairly plain, but the navy blue and white, I think, is one of the best color combinations out there. The jerseys display large numbers on the front and back, but also on the shoulders, which is another classic football jersey design.

The jerseys don’t have a team name or any stripes on them, but it does have the small Nittany Lion logo on the front collar, which if examined closely, is made to be in the shape of a “P” for Penn State.

Although simple in nature, Penn State’s jerseys pay homage to college football’s roots and even though there are no features that really set it apart from other uniforms in the game, it is a timeless look that will always hold value.
