Michigan State football offensive line commit was offered by Ohio State, but he’s still 100 percent committed to the Spartans.

Michigan State football commit Nick Samac received an offer from Ohio State coaches today. While it was a nice honor getting an offer from the instate program Nick Samac is one hundred percent committed to the Spartans. His message to the Ohio State staff was “thank you, but I’m 100 percent committed to the Spartans”

Samac is a 6-foot-5, 270 pound offensive lineman from Mentor High School in Ohio. Ohio State has commitments from two of his 2019 teammates Ryan Jacoby and Noah Potter. Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes were hoping an offer to Samac would get them a third commitment from the powerhouse program.

Samac committed to the Spartans on May 27 and has already had a return trip to East Lansing on the June 11. Samac is fully committed to Michigan State and can’t wait to get back on campus again and to continue to help build to the Spartan class.

Samac is an offensive lineman who has grown about two inches taller and added thirty pounds in the last year and a half. His frame will allow Michigan State strength coach Ken Mannie to easily get him over 300 pounds while keeping the speed and athleticism he possesses.

Expect to see Samac take another huge leap forward his senior season, and continue to climb the rankings. His ability to pull block and firmly lock in to his target at full speed is a special talent.
