Michigan dipped into Georgia quite a bit in their 2018 class, and young cornerback Myles Sims may be their crown jewel from the Peach State. He had offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia, but he committed to the maize and blue before the 2017 season started, stuck to his pledge, and made things official during the early signing period.

At 6-foot-2, he’s got good length (his rangy build and ability to disrupt passing lanes earned him the nickname “Spider”) and has the versatility to play both corner and safety. That’ll serve him well in his attempts to find playing time in a Wolverines secondary that’s lacking depth.

Sims enrolled early and has been practicing with the team since the spring. He was rated as a four-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite, landing 17th among all cornerbacks in the class of 2018 and 22nd among all Georgia prospects.
