Kellen Moore and Austin Pettis were a part of a few Boise State teams that ran the show in the WAC conference. The pair helped lead the Broncos to conference championships in 2008 and 2009 and clinched a share of the title in 2010.

Moore was a four-year starter and used his lefty sling to complete an abundance of passes– and a lot of them went to Pettis.

Pettis was a four-starter for the Broncos and holds the program-record for the most receiving touchdowns (39). He also ranks third in career receptions (229) and fourth in receiving yards (2,838).

Moore was spectacular from start to finish. Unsurprisingly, he owns nearly all the program passer records. He is far and beyond the Broncos’ leader in yardage with a whopping 14,667 passing yards and in career passing touchdowns (142).

He also holds the record for the most single-season passing touchdowns with 43 in the 2011 season and also has the second-highest amount of passing yards in a single season with 3,845 yards in 2010.

Here is a video to reminisce on one of the great passer/receiver combinations of the 2000s. Kirk Herbstreit’s commentary after the touchdown catch says it all.
