Michigan State football has landed elite athlete Alante Brown. Brown is a wide receiver with big-time playmaking ability.

Michigan State football coaches have landed one of the best playmakers in the country. Alante Brown announced on Twitter that he has committed to the Spartans 2019 class.

Michigan State was the dream school for Alante Brown, so shortly after receiving the offer from Michigan State, he committed to coach Dantonio. Brown was born in East Lansing, but grew up in Chicago, Illinois.

Brown is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide receiver from Simeon High School in Illinois. Brown who has elite speed and playmaking ability could be a missing link to an already great collection of talent on the offensive side of the ball. He is the type of player who the Spartan coaches will try to get out in space and let him make plays. Brown could also make a huge impact in the kick return game for Michigan State.

Brown camped at Michigan State towards the end of June and impressed the coaches with his great speed and performance. He ran a 4.42 and a 4.43 40-yard dash in front of head coach Mark Dantonio and wide receivers coach Terrence Samuel. He also showed off the route running ability he has. That was huge for the coaches to see in person.

Brown plays quarterback for his high school team, and watching him run routes and show off his hands was a major key for him. Michigan State football coaches have had great success taking prospects who played quarterback in high school and moving them to wide receiver.
