In the video, Melton mentions Mo Jabbie as part of an up-and-coming wide receiver group. He is a Scarlet Knight by blood as he is the nephew of former Rutgers great Mohamed Sanu.

Jabbie is somewhat of an unheralded prospect coming out of South Brunswick in Rutgers’ backyard. According to his ESPN recruiting profile, Rutgers was his only major offer and he was rated as a two-star recruit.

After being redshirted for his freshman season, he played in 11 games in 2017 and made six starts at wide receiver. Last season, he tallied just three receptions for 19 yards but was effective playing special teams. Against Morgan State last season, Jabbie recovered a blocked punt in a 65-0 blowout victory.

Jabbie will likely be slated as one of the top receivers on the Rutgers depth chart this season and has the potential to make a quality duo alongside Melton.
