West Virginia football‘s David Sills V isn’t just one of the best wide receivers in the nation, he’s the best wide receiver — and it’s not even close.

In his second stint with the Mountaineers – this time lining up outside rather than under center – David Sills V is a top-flight, No. 1 target for the Mountaineer’s offense. Long gone are the days of Sills playing quarterback. He’s all about catching touchdowns now.

He’ll be a senior this fall, and many are expecting him to be one of the best wide receivers in the country – and I think he’ll be the best. That’s a bold claim, but if anyone’s done enough to enter the year with the mantle of college football’s best receiver, it’s Sills.
